We need YOU for the Martin Luther King Jr. Parade, hosted by the MLK Alliance in Jacksonville, FL!

ALCAM is requesting walkers and volunteers to join us in honoring Dr. King’s legacy.

​

Date: Monday, January 19, 2026

Time: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Location:  Faith United Church of the Living God​ 

825 Monroe St., Jacksonville, Florida

 

We need:

​

• Walkers (must be able to walk most of the parade route)

​​

•  Float decorators to help make our presentation shine

​

•  General volunteers for parade support

​

• Talent: Singing, stepping, marching...

​

If you’re willing to participate, please sign up, and include your shirt size so we can prepare your volunteer gear.

Dress warm! Hats, boots, gloves, and layered clothing are encouraged—mornings can be breezy.

Bring your walking shoes, snacks, and insulated cups to celebrate the vision of the beloved community on Martin Luther King Day!
