To apply for the ALCAM Community Educational Leadership Scholarship for students of Edward Waters University, please enter your information below.

William E. Finley Memorial, Ray F. Finley, Jr. Community Youth, and ALCAM Community Educational Leadership  Scholarship Applications
 

Please complete this form to apply for the 2026 Fall semester. The total award for this scholarship is $500. If applying for the Ray F.  Finley Jr. Community Youth Scholarship (Oklahoma Residents Only) awards start at $100 dollars. The ALCAM Community Educational Leadership Scholarship is for students enrolled at Edward Waters University, only. Preference will be given to incoming freshman who show financial need.

The WEFM scholarship is intended for collegiates enrolled at Edward Waters University and are pursuing a degree in the fields of Education, Music, Social Science, or Business.

RFFJ Community Youth Scholarship is for youth ages 13-18. Youth are encouraged to apply for everyday  expenses impacting their educational journey. This scholarship is only available for residents in Oklahoma.

Any enrolled college student or incoming freshman that has been accepted into college at Edward Waters University May apply for the ALCAM Scholarship. To apply for the William Edward Finley Memorial scholarship in Oklahoma, applicants must use the website for Alpha Phi Alpha-Beta Eta Lambda at www.bhlscholarship.org.

1. Please submit a 500 word essay explaining your career goals, community service, achievements, and why you are a strong candidate. For Community Youth Scholars please include your current goals for your education, any community service or service goals that you believe will contribute to a better society.

2. If you are applying for the ALCAM Educational Leadership Scholarship, you must be enrolled in Edward Waters University. The deadline is July 15th of each year.

3. Include a cover page with your name, address, email, phone number, grade level, and school choice.

4. Attach to your email: proof of enrollment, transcripts, and community service, or leadership organization documentation.

5. To apply for an Alpha Phi Alpha Scholarship in Oklahoma, please click on the link below to complete your application. You will not need to complete an application through this website. To apply for a scholarship through Alpha Phi Alpha please continue to www.bhlscholarship.org.
