William E. Finley Memorial Scholarship Application

Please complete this form to apply for the 2026 Fall semester. The total award for this scholarship is $500.

This scholarship is intended for collegiates enrolled at any Jacksonville area or Tulsa/Oklahoma County area student pursuing a degree in the fields of Education, Music, Social Science, or Business.

​

Any enrolled college student or incoming freshman that has been accepted into college may apply for a scholarship in Florida for Edward Waters University or for a scholarship in Oklahoma through the website for Alpha Phi Alpha Beta Eta Lambdas.

All submissions are due May 31, 2026.

1. Please submit a 500 word essay explaining your career goals, community service, achievements, and why you are a strong candidate.
​
2. Include a cover page with your name, address, email, phone number, grade level, and school choice.
​
3. Attach to your email: proof of enrollment, transcripts, and community service, or leadership organization documentation.
