Each year, our organization, ALCAM, proudly honors the lives and legacies of William Edward Finley and his brother, Ray F. Finley, Jr. by investing in the future of young scholars. As third generation Pawhuskans, the Finley family has contributed to the community throughout the years. Before the Finley brothers passing, they were a part of that community. We would like to share an opportunity for businesses to support future college students on their educational journey.

Through the generosity of our community and the dedication of the members of ALCAM, we award $500 scholarships to deserving college students who demonstrate determination, leadership, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the states of Oklahoma and Florida.

These scholarships are more than financial assistance- they are a tribute to two men whose lives reflected service, perseverance, and care for others. By helping students continue their education, we ensure that their legacy continues to inspire opportunities and achievements for generations to come.

In 2026, the ALCAM organization added the Ray Finley Jr. Youth Community scholarship for children who show exemplary characteristics and participate in their community. With this everyday people scholarship, we are awarding up to five youth in various communities in Oklahoma to include: Pawhuska, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and the surrounding areas. Each student that is selected will receive a participation certificate & One-Hundred ($100) per person to help with school supplies, books, fees, and uniforms, etc. 

 

Our annual awards ceremony serves as the primary fundraiser for these scholarships, but we rely on additional support from individuals and community partners to expand our reach. With your donation, we can continue providing meaningful assistance to students who might otherwise struggle to meet the costs of higher education.
